Poet At Large Reviews, Book, The Teacher’s Billionaire (The Sherbrookes of Newport Book One)   Leave a comment

‘The Teacher’s Billionaire’ by Christina Tetreault is the story of a young woman named Callie.  Who finds out after her mother’s death that the father she always had been told was dead is not only alive but a very rich candidate for the office of U.S. President.  Her father who never knew that her mother was with child till he receives a letter that was mailed by a friend of Callie’s mother then seeks out Callie.  Along the way Callie finds herself in a wild romance with her father’s Stepson, while at the same time being treated like scum by her half-sister.

I found the book to be a good diversion as far as escapist literature goes but it is Cliche and not as clever as it tries to be.
