Poet At Large Reviews, Book, The Bad luck Wedding Dress   Leave a comment

The Bad Luck Wedding Dress by Geralyn Dawson in a wonderful piece of escapist literature some times called a bodice ripper but most often classified as a romance novel.  There is much more to it than steamy love scenes though is far from short on those.  There is a man on the run.  A very big and dangerous lie.  A set of twins who have not spoken to each other in years.  Some very independent women in a time when that was not accepted, and a treeo of little girls that will melt you heart.  On top of that it is not quite as smutty as some romance novels I have read.  It also has a great deal of humor to offset the action and danger.  I found the book very enjoyable and only wish my mother was still alive to read it too.

From The Poet’s Mouth,

Lyda Mae Dameron
